Step 6: Verify the Top Plate Alignment

Verify the final alignment of the Top Plate with the top of the checkstand. The side edges of the Top Plate must not be higher than the top surface of the checkstand. If adjustment is necessary, remove the NCR 7879 from the checkstand and adjust the leveling feet on the bottom of the unit.

For installation of a NCR 7879 scanner only, skip to Step 9: Verify NCR 7879 is Operational.
